Donald McGaha, age 59 of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025. He was an employee at Lozier Corporation for 21 years and was a member of the Bible Baptist Church. Donald was not only a beloved husband and father, but a devoted grandpa / Papaw whose greatest joy was the Love of his family. Donald had a deep love for Alabama football, hunting, and fishing – simple joys that reflected his love for life and the outdoors.
Donald is survived by his wife, Pam McGaha; daughters, Tiffany McGaha (Jason), Tiffany Patterson (Wayne); sons, Zach McGaha (Hannah), Thomas Mershon (Ashley); 8 grandchildren, Elyssa, Cassidy, Evelyn, Maeve, Wren, Walker, Emma, Tommy; sisters, Sherry Womack (Mike), Sheila Hare (Robert); brothers, Bennie McGaha (Shirley), Dennis McGaha; mother in-law, Catherine Adkins; several nieces and nephews, and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Mildred McGaha.
Visitation will be held at Scottsboro Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 22nd from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a funeral service on Thursday, October 23rd at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Frankie Osmer officiating. Burial will follow in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
