Mr. Donald Leroy Garrison, age 72, of passed away at home on Sunday, December 12, 2021. He moved from West Virginia to Arab 7 years ago.
Mr. Garrison was born on August 7, 1949, in Eleanor, West Virginia to Guy Lee Garrison and Violet Matilda Winters Garrison. Mr. Garrison served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was a tobacco farmer while living in West Virginia. Mr. Garrison was a non denominational preacher and pastor. He was an avid fisherman and he enjoyed hunting deer, rabbit, coon and squirrel. He loved his pet dog, Abby.
Mr. Garrison leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Barbara “Bobbie” Lynn Dailey Garrison; sisters, Gloria Combs, Barbara Garrison, Terri Frye (Mike); sister in law, Donna Hawley; a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Garrison is preceded in death by his parents, Guy Lee Garrison and Violet Matilda Winters Garrison; sister, Jeanette Warner.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
