Donald Leon Barnett, 83 of Ardmore, Tennessee died on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at Ardmore Health Care Center.
Born Wednesday, May 11, 1932 in Harvest, Alabama, he was the son of the late O H Barnett and the late Jewell Craig Barnett. He enjoyed building, remodeling, and gardening. He was preceded in death byhis parents and a brother: Oliver Barnett.
Surviving are wife: Nellie Barnett of Ardmore, TN, son, Don Barnett, Jr. of Pendleton, KY, daughters, Vickie Barnett of Ardmore, TN and Wanda Sturgill of Shepherdsville, KY, brother, Jackie Barnett of Lynchburg, TN, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama. Burial will be in Germantown Cemetery, Athens, AL.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
