Donald Lee Campbell, 77, formerly of Mount Hope, died March 28, 2016 in Vicenza, Italy, after a brief illness with his wife, son and daughter by his side. He was born July 1, 1938 to Floyd Campbell and Georgia Stephens Campbell.
Don is survived by his wife, Daniela; son, Daniele Floyd; daughter, Denise and Filippo Polauszach and granddaughter, Marta Polauszach, all of whom reside in Italy. His American family consists of two sisters, Jerry Gilbreath and Wanda Gail Campbell; two brothers, Ronnie Campbell and Bobby Campbell as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held in Vicenza, Italy, on April 2, 2016 with burial in Bologna, Italy.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Mount Hope Baptist Church.
