Donald Joe Lane, age 62, of Winchester, Tennessee, passed away on April 11, 2026, at his residence. He was born on February 10, 1964, in Russellville, Alabama, to Juanita Lane and the late Jimmy Lane
Donald worked in the manufacturing industry for many years. He was an avid Alabama football fan and found great joy in cheering on his team. Above all, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren, who meant the world to him. He enjoyed spending time outdoors doing yard work and took pride in keeping things just right. Donald was known for his kind heart, outgoing personality, and his ability to make others laugh. He never met a stranger and was always ready with a joke or a smile.
He is preceded in death by Jimmy Lane.
He is survived by his loving wife, Erica Lane; son, Preston (Bethany) Lane; mother, Juanita Lane; grandchildren, Jasper, Sawyer, and Bryce Lane; siblings, Regina (Ronnie) Appleton, Norris Lane, Bobby (Denise) Lane, Terry Lane, and Heath (Paula) Lane; along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at his mother’s home.
