Donald Joe “Donnie” Henson, 61, died Friday, Dec. 5, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Franklin County, Ala., and worked for Tiffin Motorhomes for 28 years.
Funeral services will be Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Danny Fuller officiating. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Henson, of Vina; sons, Clay Henson (Natalie), and Chris Henson (Alicia), all of Vina; grandchildren, Preston Henson, Olivia Henson and Vince Henson; sister, Conita Grigsby (Steve), Memphis, Tenn.; brothers, Rickey Henson (Scarlotte), of Athens, and Nickey Henson (Dianne), of Red Bay; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Eva Winchester Henson and a step-son, Anthony Henson.
Pallbearers are Dexter Winchester, Arthur Carl Winchester, Adam Henson, Brian Thompson, Ricky McKinney and Garrett Henson.
His grandchildren were the joy of his life.
Visitation will be today from 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
