Don DittoDonald Gene Ditto, 57, of Ripley passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Born in Chicago Il, he was an alumnus of the Ripley Class of 1986. Mr. Ditto was a retired Vending Route Driver.

Don had a special gift for friendship, he never met a stranger. His wittiness, filled every room with laughter. Before his long-term illness, he was an avid fisherman. He loved sports coaching youth baseball and football as well as watching his beloved Tennessee Vols, Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Cubs.

He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 33 years, Tina Ditto, a son Casey Ditto of Black Rock, AR, and a daughter Bethany Ditto (William Barnett) of Ripley. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Doris Ditto and a brother Gary Ditto.

A special “Thank You” to Lauderdale County Ambulance Authority and DaVita Kidney Care Clinic – Ripley for the special long-term care given to Don.

Visitation will begin at 11 AM Friday March 13 at Garner Funeral Home with services to follow at 1 PM. Interment will be in Holmes Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers: Lee Allen Pope, Charles Crook, Jr., Michael Jankovsky, Ricky Hubbard, Bobby Shaw and Robert Bricco. Honorary pallbearers are James Marshall “Mark” Crook and Keith Wakefield.
