Mr. Donald Gene Bonds, age 82 of Albertville, passed away Friday, May 19, 2023. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 21, 2023 at5 3:00 pm at Mount Vernon Baptist Church, with Brother David Martin officiating and Carl Bonds speaking. The family will receive friends and loved ones at 2:00 pm till the time of service, and burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Baptist Cemetery.
Mr. Bonds is survived by his wife Ann Bonds; daughters Audria Glaze (Clarence) and Pamela White (Brian); sister Doris Gamble (Tom); brother Carl Bonds (Sue); grandchildren Dyan White, Gail White, and Malea Glaze. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy Starlin and Vera Gertrude Bonds; brothers Doyle Wayne Bonds, Roy Bonds, Danny Joe Bonds, and Tony Bonds; and sister Sheila Jarmon.
Pallbearers will include Mark Bonds, Justin Bonds, Rusty Bonds, Benjamin Bonds, Ryan Bonds, Darren Young, and Derek Gamble.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Mount Vernon Baptist Church of Albertville or Aveanna Health Care of Scottsboro, AL. Thank you.
