Mr. Donald Frank Thomas, age 73, of Scottsboro, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his family. Donald was born November 17, 1949 to Frank and Mary Grace Thomas.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 2:00pm at Haigwood Baptist Church with Bro. David Wilborn and Bro. Thomas Cornelison officiating. Burial will follow at Haigwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Donald is survived by his loving wife, Elaine Thomas, of 48 years; daughters, Sherry Miller (Chris) of Scottsboro and Terri Monroe (Anthony) of Pisgah; grandchildren, Taylor Miller (Kristen), Bentley Miller (Cody) and Adalynn Monroe; great-grandson, Ryder Shankles; brother, Rodney Thomas; nephew Keith Evans (Connie) and several nieces and nephews and family and friends.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Grace Thomas and sisters, Lois Cutbirth, Lynn Thomas and Faye Cupp.
