The family of Donald Edward Fletcher, age 63, of Danville, will host a private Celebration of Life at a later date. Mr. Fletcher died Saturday, December 6, 2014, at his residence, surrounded by his loved ones.
After serving 10 years with the Washington DC Police Department, he began a truck driving career which spanned 30 years. He later began working at Books-a-Million, from which he retired. Donald was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was loved by all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Janie; one son, Justin & wife, Faith; one daughter, Melissa & husband, Daniel; one brother, Mike Fletcher & wife, Debbie; one sister, Dianne Whisenant; and two grandchildren, Beau Fletcher and Gracie Fletcher.
