Donald E. Bray, age 71, Haleyville, AL. passed away Sunday January 5, 2025. He served in the United States Army, retired State Manager with WoodMen Life Ins. Co., and member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Wednesday January 8, 2025 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service Thursday January 9, 2025 at 12:00NOON at Beech Grove Baptist Church in Haleyville, AL., with Bro. Richard Crumpton officiating. he will lie in state at the church from 11:00AM – 12:00NOON . Burial to follow in Myers Hill Cemetery in Brilliant, AL.
He survived by his wife, Kathy Bray; children, Christie Bray, Mitzi (Adam) Hyde and Adam Bob (Aly) Bray; sisters, Verna Lee (Bill) Bridgeman, Shirley (Dicken) Reno and Charlotte (Bobby) Denton; grandchildren, Noah (Alex) Scott, Parker, Ryder, Sawyer and Bayler Hyde and Maisee Bray; a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Louise Bray; son, Lonnie Bray; grandson, Mason Scott; sister, Elouis West; brother, Ronald Goodwin.
