Donald Duffey Donald Duffey, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and loving husband peacefully passed away in the early morning hours of July 3rd at Huntsville Hospital Hospice Family Care at 10000 Serenity Lane in Huntsville, Alabama. He was born in Birmingham and was a resident of Huntsville for over forty years.

He attended Birmingham Southern College and Auburn University. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Donald had two passions in his life. His first was airplanes and flying. Whenever he could, he encouraged young people to share his love of flying, taking them up in one of the many planes he owned throughout his life and inspiring them to become pilots. His second passion was being a business owner. He established Alabama Business Forms in 1971 and for nearly 50 years worked tirelessly to make it a stable and successful business for both his employees and his customers.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Carolyn and Roland Duffey, his twin brother, Walter E. Duffey, his sister, Jane Duffey Talley and daughter, Lauren Gail Duffey.

Donald is survived by his loving wife, Pauline Suskind Duffey; his son, Donald B. Duffey, Jr. (Urike); and three stepsons, Jeffrey (Joy), Steven (Christine), and Gary (Jeanine); in addition to nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Laughlin Service Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. followed by services conducted by Pastor Mac Buttram of Trinity Methodist Church. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery following the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Huntsville Hospital Hospice Family Care to continue their outstanding service to the community.
