Donald Dale Truitt, 82, of Lexington, passed away December 25, 2025, at his residence. Don was the retired Data Processing Director for the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL, and a member of Clements Baptist Church. Survivors include: Wife: Vonda Stallings Truitt Daughter: LeAnn Newsom (Scott) Brothers: Waylon Truitt (Brenda) & Gary Truitt (Myra) Sister-in-law: Cheryl Truitt (8) Grandchildren and (4) great-grandchildren Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins Preceded in death by: Parents: James Ruford Truitt & Dessie Elizabeth McGee Truitt Brother: Wendell Truitt Visitation will be on Sunday, December 28, 2025, from 2:00pm – 3:00pm, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 3:00pm, at the church, with Caleb Gooch officiating & Jenny Kyle and Catherine Esary presenting the music. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Tim Truitt, Eric Truitt, Terry Truitt, John Truitt, Cameron Frost & Michael Jenkins.
