Donald Chapman, a Huntsville resident since 1963 and 1971 graduate of Grissom High School, passed away February 25, 2018. He was born in Amarillo, Texas on May 18, 1952 to Robert and Guylyn Chapman. “Rick” was an intelligent, carefree and gregarious young man, who as he grew older, increasingly inhabited an unseen world. Despite this impediment, he became a devoted companion to his grandmother, Dorothy Fulbright, and a source of comfort in her waning years. He is now buried with her, his father and mother, at Huntsville Memory Gardens. He is survived by three siblings: Robert Chapman, Jr., Jennifer Chapman, and Kathryn Chapman Swanson. Also left behind are seven nieces and nephews. Rick is now truly resting in peace and we look forward to one day rejoicing with him in his resurrected, unblemished mind and body.
