Mr. Donald C. Hicks, age 88, a resident of Hohenwald, passed away Wednesday morning, July 18, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Born on September 13, 1929 in Delhi, Michigan, Donald was the son of the late Raymond Hicks and the late Edna Webb Hicks. He was of the Baptist faith and worked many years at General Motors. One of his greatest hobbies was driving his dune buggy on the sand in Siler Lake, Michigan.
He is survived by his son: David Hicks of Haslett, MI; daughter: Judy (John Nati) Maag of Hohenwald, TN; sister: Florence Hicks of Alaska; grandchildren Justin Maag, Jennifer Dodson; and great grandchildren: Shelby Dodson and Owen Maag.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: John Hicks, Ed Hicks, Ray Hicks, Rollin Hicks; and sisters: Helen Hawks, Betty Cohoon, and Florence Hicks.
Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
