Donald A. “Mousey” Durham, age 72 of Sheffield, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019. His visitation will be Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene in Sheffield. His funeral service will follow at the church at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Howard Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.
Donald was a native of Colbert County and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Sheffield. He was an avid Alabama Fan. “Roll Tide!”
He was preceded in death by his parents, A. F. “Doc” and Elizabeth Durham.
Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Carolyn McDougal Durham; sons, Don “Andy” Durham (Rebecca) and Chris Cheek; daughter, Khim Kirby (Andy); and a host of grandchildren. He was Pop to many.
Pallbearers will be Jerry McCaig, J.D. Barber, Johnny Barber, Ronnie Campbell, Chris Campbell and Anthony Terrell. Honorary pallbearer will be Larry Staten.
