Mr. Donal Hershel Clayton, age 76, of Decatur, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, Parkway. He was born May 22, 1941, in Seminary, Mississippi.
He was a 1958 graduate of East Forrest High School, and obtained his B.S. degree in 1969 from the University of Southern Mississippi. Mr. Clayton served in the U. S. Air Force in Special Operations with a Top Secret clearance from January 1959 until May 1966, following which he worked as a network engineer in aerospace applications for more than 40 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debra Dee Lamond Clayton, of Decatur; one daughter, Nicole Cork (Brandon), of Decatur; and two grandsons, Riley Cork and Parker Cork.
