Dona Elizabeth Davis, 85, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 25, 2018, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Elkins East Chapel. The service will follow at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Kyle Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Bluewater Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and a homemaker. She is survived by her two children, Anthony (Celista) Davis of Lexington and Angela (Sam) Scoggin of Tuscumbia; five grandchildren, Patrick Davis of Killen, Kyle (Miranda) Davis of Rogersville, Cecilia (Eric) Brumley of Rogersville, Crista (Doug) Corley of Lexington and Cameron Davis of Auburn; six great-grandchildren, Justice, Valor, Evelyn and Stella Davis and Tripp and Piper Corley; sisters-in-law, Sue Collier, Nell Collier and Ann White; brothers-in-law, Benny White and Albert Mooney; special lifelong friends, Herbert and Verta Mae Peters and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Austeen Davis; parents, Oliver and Rebecca Collier; and brothers, Orvil Collier and Pete Collier.
Pallbearers will be Cameron Davis, Doug Corley, Eric Brumley, Terry Collier, Twymine Collier, Lance Collier and Dwight Newton.
