Born on July 13, 1956 in Roseland, IL, Don was the son of Eleanor Lebica Galle and the late William F. Galle. He met Cathy at the young age of eleven, and they married on November 6, 1976, together they had three children. He worked as an Op Tech for 34 ½ years at General Motors before retiring in 2008. Don was excellent at woodworking and was known for his elaborate bird houses that he made for others, usually at no cost. A true outdoorsman, one of his biggest hobbies was fishing, but he also enjoyed grilling, canning, cooking, traveling, and going on cruises. He was a simple yet particular man who loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
