Don Reynolds Stricklin was born on March 2, 1940 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late James Riley and Dorthea Emily Reynolds Stricklin.
Mr. Stricklin was a resident of Memphis, Tennessee from 1980 until 2011 and worked as a project manager for Mills & Sons Construction. Following his retirement in 2011, he moved back to Savannah, Tennessee where he and his mother were very active members of Robertson Chapel United Methodist Church. Don was President of the Contractors Association and enjoyed working, reading history books, farming, and growing roses. Don also loved spending time hunting for deer and duck.
Don Reynolds Stricklin departed this life on November 28, 2019 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 79 years, 8 months, and 26 days.
He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Denise Stricklin of West Memphis, Arkansas, Laura Stricklin of Savannah, Tennessee, and Donna Bishop of Atlanta, Georgia; son, James Stricklin of Memphis, Tennessee; brother, Mac Stricklin of Savannah, Tennessee; and sisters, Elaine Raines of Arkansas and Annette Willliams of Virginia.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Kim Stricklin and Dr. Ray Stricklin.
