Dolores S. McCullough – Obituary

Born Eva Dolores Wagoner on July 5, 1937, in Winston Salem, North Carolina, Dee Scott McCullough completed her earthly journey on Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016, surrounded by her loving family in Prattville, Alabama. She is survived by her husband and traveling companion, James “Jim” McCullough; son, Charles “Chuck” (Vicki) Scott, of Newton, North Carolina; daughters, Terrie (Bryan) Morgan, of Prattville, and Linda (Brad) Kent, of Athens, Alabama; seven grandchildren, Casey (Brandon) Bates, Jeffrey (Sara) Scott, Randi Biggs, Hunter (Adrienne) Scott, Jacob Biggs, Brandon Kent, and Brandie Kent; great-granddaughter, Kaydence Biggs; and her brother, James Wagoner, of Maui, Hawaii.

Dee was known for her sweet nature and infectious smile she shared with everyone she met in the several states she lived in with her pre-deceased husband, Charles Scott of Jonesville, North Carolina. She most recently resided in Prattville where she was a member of First Baptist Church and worked at Cracker Barrel.

A service celebrating Dee’s life will be held at First Baptist Church of Prattville at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2016, with the family receiving friends from 9-10:45 a.m. Burial will be held at Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur, Alabama on March 30, 2016, at 10 a.m.
