Dolores Miner passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025, in Jackson, on her 95th birthday. Mrs. Miner was born in Victor, New York, on February 23, 1930, to the late Dominic Parisi and Mary Parnello Parisi. She had resided in Rochester, New York, and had been an employee of Bausch & Lomb.
Mrs. Miner was a member of Wildersville Church of Christ. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, and sister, always caring for her family in so many ways. When she loved, she loved wholeheartedly. She especially enjoyed going to McDonald’s and having coffee with her friends.
Mrs. Miner is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Rhodes; brother, John Parisi; sister, Florence Esposito; two grandchildren: Crystel Carnal (Greg), and Lisa Barry (Bryan); five great-grandchildren: Chasity Roberts, Katie Ward (Tanner), Brennan Barry, Layla Barry, Tusha Bailey: six great great grandchildren: Renley Roberts, Halston Ward, Micah Ward, Christopher Bailey, Bryson Bailey, and Brent Bailey.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Miner was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Frank Miner; four brothers: Frank Parisi, Joe Parisi, Christi Parisi, and Tony Parisi; four sisters: Lena Sanfilippo, Frances Conner, Antoinette Turner, Rosie Deconna; a grandson, David Feathers.
Memorial Service for Mrs. Miner will be on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 3:00 PM, in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 noon until time of service at 3:00.
