Dolly Frances Statom Hickman, 89, of Florence, passed away June 6, 2014, at ECM Hospital. She was a member of Chisholm Hills Church of Christ and a longtime member of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 5.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 8, 2014, from 1-3 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home with the funeral service beginning at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Officiating will be Charles Abernathy. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hickman was preceded in death by her loving husband, James E. Hickman Sr., parents, Price and Muncie Statom, brother, Nolen Statom, and sister, Lois Hodges.
She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Hickman (Martha), of Florence, and Scott Hickman, of Knoxville, Tennessee; daughter, Beverly Linkous (Randy), of Knoxville, Tennessee; brother, J.P. “Hot” Statom Jr. (Alice), sisters, Hilda Zahnd, Mallie Campbell, and Betty James (Harold), sister-in-law, Juanita Statom, and granddaughter, Martha Frances Graham (Kevin), all of Florence; and the Corder family, of Nashville, Tennessee.
Pallbearers will be Jerry James, Joey James, Josh Statom, Tracy Statom, Ronald Berkey, and Don Aston.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Stony Point Church of Christ Cemetery fund.
