Dollie Faye Hamblin, 76, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in Blue Springs, MS. Faye was born on March 5, 1949, in Pontotoc, MS, to Hewitt and Rudalee Holmes Whitlow, was a beloved grandmother and great-grandmother cherished by many. As a young girl, she loved cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family. Known for always seeing the good in everyone, Faye worked as a seamstress and was full of forgiveness and love. In the early 80s, she married her soulmate, Danny Hamblin, and together they built a wonderful life, raising their five children and a grandson, John Michael Foreman.
Survivors include her children, Kimberly Gutherie (Red), Kevin Hamblin, Carla Jones, and Kenny Hamblin, her grandchildren, Andrea Trimble(James Trimble), Krista Morris( DJ Ruth Jr.), Brittany Jordan, Walker Jones(Ty), AJ Hamblin(Madison),Danny Ray Dobbs(Justin), and Trent Hamblin, Luke Hamblin, and a host of great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Wayne Hamblin, her daughter, Donna Faye Jordan, her son, John Michael Foreman, her granddaughter, Amanda Lansdell, and her 2 grandsons, Micah Lamar Dobbs and Terry Joe Hamblin.
Services will be Sunday, July 6, 2025, at 2PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Tony Corrie officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, July 5th 5-8PM and Sunday, July 6th 1PM until service time. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Walker, DJ, James, AJ, Luke, and Trent.
