Docie Mary Lea Smith, age 96, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Crockett Hospital as a housekeeper, and a member of the Church of Christ Faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lillie Clifton Clayton; her husband, William “Bill” A. Smith; one son, Charles “John” Smith; two daughters, Lolly Luttrell and Carlene Camp; three sisters, Lester Clayton, Christine Popoutsis, and Irene McMurray.
She is survived by

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, May 01, 2013 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 02, 2013, with David Stofel officiating. Interment will follow at Old Ethridge Cemetery in Ethridge, TN.
