Dimple Ann Vickery, age 77, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014.
Visitation will be today, 10 a.m.-noon at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. Funeral services will follow at noon in the funeral home chapel with Brother James Taylor officiating.
Interment will be at Community Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Steven Gandy, Josh Gandy, Jeremy Crowson, Blake Vickery, Connor Vickery, Carson Vickery, and Matthew Poarch. Nick Poarch will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Mrs. Vickery was a member of Freewill Baptist Church, Florence, and was retired from H.D. Lee Company. She loved working with pottery and ceramics.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ottie Marion Poarch and Thomas Ed Vickery, and her daughter, Rita Crowson.
Also preceding her in death were three brothers and six sisters.
Survivors include children, Roger Poarch (Sharon), Ronnie Poarch (Kay), Donna Holloway (Mike), Cathy Gandy,
Kathy Lynn Adams (Anthony),
Eddie Vickery (Kim), Mark Vickery (Lynne), and Thomas Vickery (Amy);
sisters, Cleo Uhlman and Doris Stults; 20 grandchildren;
23 great-grandchildren; and
one great-great-grandchild.
