Dillard Carroll Mason  Dillard Carroll Mason was born on June 6, 1942, in Iron City, TN, the son of the late Floyd
Mason and Eula Wilson. He was united in marriage to Stella Glass on November 18, 1966. Mr. Mason was a veteran of the United States Air Force, worked as a general foreman at Murray Ohio and later as the city manager of Collinwood, TN, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Collinwood. He departed this life on June 20, 2021 in Collinwood at the age of 79 years and 14 days. In addition to his parents, Mr. Mason was preceded in death by two sisters,Frances Florence Mason and Verline Bolton.

He is survived by his wife Stella (Glass) Mason of Collinwood; two sons, Steven Mason and
wife Carole of Sparta, WI, and Eric Mason and wife Jacqueline of Algonquin, IL; a daughter,
Vadessa Flack and husband Steven of Medina, TN; two brothers, Carl Mason and wife Patsy of Iron City, TN, and Paul Mason and wife Barbara of Ardmore, AL; five grandchildren, Natasha Mason of Sparta, WI, Alex Mason of Sparta, WI, Lauren Ashley Muoh and husband Obinna of Tuscaloosa, AL, Parker Flack of Medina, TN, Anastasia Mason of Algonquin, IL; two half sisters, Shirley McGaha and husband Tryson of Knoxville, TN, and Katherine Mason of Knoxville, TN; and one half brother, Glen Neal Mason of Springfield, TN. Dillard was a generous, compassionate man with a mischievous smile and an outgoing personality. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who also sought to help others in quiet ways. He enjoyed traveling, gardening, and watching sports.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN.

Services will be held on June 25, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in
Collinwood, TN, with Rev. Paul Mason officiating. Burial will follow in the Railroad Cemetery
at Iron City, TN, with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
