Dianne Grissom, 71, of Sheffield, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 6, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jeremy Goss officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Dianne was a native and lifelong resident of Colbert County. She was the owner of Dianne’s Daycare and a member of Shoals Church of the Way.
Dianne was preceded in death by her husband, Bronnie Grissom; daughter, Harlie Grace Grissom; parents, Walter and Jessie Denton; sister, Barbara Fountain; and brother, Jimmy Denton.
She is survived by her children, Kimberly Oliver (Gary) and Billy Grissom (Kelly); brother, Ricky Walter; sister, Patricia “Tiny” Patterson; grandchildren, Noah Bishop (Grace), Sailar Wells (Evan), Lane Aday (Erin) and Brady Aday; great-grandchildren, Blakely Aday, Weston Aday, and Ellianna Wells.
Pallbearers will be Noah Bishop, Lane Aday, Brady Aday, Evan Wells, Noah Ruiz, and Joel David Gilbert.
