Diane Willis Oliver passed away June 9th, 2019 at UAB Hospital after a sudden illness. A graveside service will be held at Guy Cemetery, Tuesday June 11th at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. David Conley officiating with Morrison Funeral Home in charge.
Diane spent her life in Colbert County where she worked several different jobs over the years, but most of her time was spent as mother and housewife where she always prided herself for being a very good wife of 45 years and very good mother. She loved Alabama Football- “Roll Tide”.
She was preceded in death by daughter Chasity; mother and father, Talma Mae and Billy Gene Willis; grandparents, and numerous aunts and uncles.
She leaves behind husband Michael Wayne Oliver, son Michael Eric Oliver, special niece Tabitha Cain Worrell, sisters, Sheila Fisher and husband William Fisher, Tammy Cain, brother Jerry Willis and wife Jenna and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Chad Fisher, Chris Fisher, Andy Thompson, Ernest Oliver, Jr., Travis Oliver and Justin Oliver.
Diane tried to be a friend to all and tried not to mistreat anyone.
Even though Diane loved flowers she requested that in lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude’s Hospital.
