Diane Curtis Wildenstein – Obituary

Diane Curtis Wildenstein age 66 of Salem, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Huntsville Hospital.

She was born April 29, 1948 to Benjamin Franklin Curtis, Jr. and Wilma Nafe Curtis in Columbia, Tennessee. Diane was a member of Salem Church of Christ and a former Limestone County Realtor. She was a 1966 graduate of Athens Bible School. Her passions were singing, camping, reading, gardening, cooking and pets, Rocky and Maggie. Diane was dearly loved by her family and will be missed.

Visitation will be at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. The funeral will be at Limestone Chapel on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with her brother, Joe Curtis and Mark Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the new Salem Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Kevin Alan Curtis; sisters-in-law, Patricia Curtis and Lois Panullo; and brother-in-law, Lester Wildenstein.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Hank Wildenstein; brothers, Ronald W. Curtis of Athens and Joe N. Curtis and wife, Vicki of Athens; sisters-in-law, Dawn Wildenstein of Salem, AL and Shirley Wildenstein of Aldenville, Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be nephews, Phillip Curtis, Jonathan Curtis, Tyler Curtis, Caleb Pierce, Bobby Ferris and Tim Panullo.

Flowers may be sent or donations made to a Hospice organization of your choice.
