Funeral services for Mrs. Diana Horn, age 74 of Ashland will be Friday, June 2, 2023 at Benefield Funeral Home starting at 1:00 PM with Rev. Larry Mitchell, Rev, Phillip T. Oliver and Rev. Chris Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Millerville Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Horn was born in Talladega, AL and lived in the area all her life. She was a nurse for over 20 years and always enjoyed reading. She traveled when she could with her sister and loved spending time with her family. She was a faithful member at Millerville Baptist Church and taught bible study for a long time.
She is survived by her daughters, Demeris Smith(Tommy) of Oxford and Larisa Harris of Millerville; grandchildren, Darby, Heather(Akash), Paige(Xavier), Ashley, Patrick, Brook(Justin), Autumn, Selena, Darren, Tonya, Tina and Sheena; 18 great grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Cindy Wheeles and Cherry Mitchell(Larry) and brother, Phillip T. Oliver(Cheryl) with many nieces and nephews and caring friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Horn; parents, Phillip and Wilma Oliver; grandson, David Smith and great-grandson, Jonathon Wade.
Pallbearers will be Xavier Rachel, Jamie Wheeles, Darren Ray Smith, Patrick Harris, Bradley Arnold and Justin Griffin.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4:30 to 7:00 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland.
