Dexter Eugene Graves, 72, of Iron City, TN, passed away October 18, 2015 at E.C.M. Hospital after an extended illness. He was a beloved husband, wonderful father, and grandfather, and a member of the Electrician’s Local IBEW #558.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 6 –8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday, October 23, 2015 at 11 a.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Jerry Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah Cemetery.
Mr. Graves was preceded in death by his son, Robert Heupel; parents, Ernest and Hazel Graves.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Faye West; son, Michael Heupel of Iron City, TN; brothers, William “Bill” Graves (Suk) of Sierra Vista, AZ, Wayne Graves (Pat) of Florence, Vandell Graves of Athens; grandchildren, Rocky Heupel (Christy), Rebecca Adams (Allen) all of Five Points, TN; five great-grandchildren; and a beloved niece, Bethany Bierig (Mark).
Active pallbearers will include Eddie Cummins, Daryl Graves, Johnny Waylins, Ricky Marks, David West, and Dennis Oakley.
