Funeral service for Dewitt Widner, 87, will be Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gary Peebles officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Etha Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Widner died on Monday, August 25, 2014 at his residence. He was born July 9, 1927, in Cullman County to Tom Widner and Lula (Briscoe) Widner. He was a farmer and was preceded in death by his wife: Doshie Widner and his parents.
