Memorial service for Dewey Walker “J. R.” Reed, Jr., age 58, of Moulton, will be Saturday, November 3, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at the MFMC Shoals Clubhouse, 1791 Neil Morris Road, Tuscumbia, AL 35674.
J. R., who died Saturday, October 27, 2012, at his residence, was born February 25, 1954, in Winston County, AL to Dewey Walker Reed, Sr. and Minnie Evelyn Mayfield Reed. He was a founding member of the Motorcycle Family Motorcycle Club and was the president of the Shoals Chapter of MFMC.
He is survived by his partner, Angela Brown of Moulton; two daughters, Courtney Reed (Jonathon) of Decatur, and Lila Brown of Moulton; two sons, Shannon Waits (Andrea) of Trinity, and Allen Malone of Moulton; one brother, Garry Reed (Myra) of Killen; one sister, Kim Harris (Frank) of Cartersville, GA; four grandchildren, Kayla Powers of Decatur, Bretley Lorenza of Decatur, Chase Waits of Trinity, and Gage Waits of Trinity; and his MFMC brothers and sisters.
