Funeral services for Mr. Dewey Marr, age 72, are scheduled for 2:00pm Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Cedar Grove Pentecostal Church, Burial will follow at Sardis Cemetery. Mr. Marr passed away Friday at his Home. He was a member of Cedar Grove Pentecostal Church and retired from Young Radiator. He was born Feb. 19,1946 in Decatur Co. Tn. to the late Lester and Mae Blackstock Marr. Survivors include; Wife-Brenda Marr, 1 daughter- Sandra Day (Larry), 2 sons- Joey Marr (Tammy) and Richard Marr. 2 granddaughters- Kasha Vanderhoof, Breanca Gregory, 1 grandson-Roger Adkins (Kristina), 1 great granddaughter- Aliyana Vanderhoof and 1 great grandson- Jake Adkins, his mother in law- Lila Grice and 2 special little girls- Mackenzie Weber and Alexis Rice. 1 sister- Patsy Mooney. He was preceded in death by parents- Lecter and Mae Marr, a daughter Donna Kiggins, 3 brothers- Max Ray Blackstock, Cecil Marr, L.V. Marr. 4 sisters- Inez Marr, Genola White, Bernice Craig and Mary Sue Newton.
