Dewey Lee “Billie” Tucker, age 94 of Double Springs, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at her residence.
She was born February 18, 1930 to Dewey and Ida Roberts. Dewey “Billie” loved God and reading her bible. She always loved it when the family gathered around and getting to cook for them. Dewey “Billie” liked to go fishing and tend to her flowers. Making quilts was also a favorite of hers.
Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am on April 27, 2024 at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Double Springs, Alabama.
Dewey “Billie” is survived by her sister, Betty (JL) Martin; children, Sandra Jones, Lynda (Al) Tuck, Kathy Cagle, Kim (Bob) Larsen, Anthony (Pam) Tucker, Sammy Tucker, Steve (Sarah) Tucker, Joe Tucker, and Charlene (Ronnie) Nobles; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Tucker; parents, Luther and Ida Tidwell, children, Huey Garrison, and Alfred Tucker; brother, Huey Robers; sister, Jenelle McNutt; grandson, Micheal Jones; first husband, Fay Garrison
