Dewey A. “Duke” Garner, 82, of Rogersville, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, at his residence.
He was retired from Union Carbide.
Funeral service will be Monday, Sept 29, at 2 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home, with Matt Burns officiating. Visitation will be noon-2 Monday. Burial will follow in Barkley Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Garner, Ronald Sinyard, Brylee Sinyard, Chandler Willingham, Michael Clemmons and Terry Wright.
Mr. Garner was preceded in death by his parents, Hobson and Bertha Garner; brother, Carlton Garner; and sister, Lois Ann Corum.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Davis Garner; children, Freda (Don) Mitchell and Donnie (Teresa) Garner; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Doris Wright.
