DeWayne Satterfield, 55, of Huntsville, passed away Friday. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert and Mary Jo Satterfield. DeWayne is survived by his wife, Cara Satterfield; daughters, Peyton and Isabella Satterfield; step children, Noah and Lydia Fairburn; and his father, Doyle Satterfield.
Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Thursday at Willowbrook Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the church. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday from 6-9 p.m. at Monte Sano Lodge. Friends are encouraged to wear a t-shirt or belt buckle to represent your time with DeWayne on the trail.
