Dewayne Hartley Stewart, 73, of Leighton, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. His visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The memorial service will be Saturday in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. with Brother Truman Sutton officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery.
Dewayne was a native of Cullman, and retired as a truck driver from TVA.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Elizabeth Stewart; father-in-law, George Peden; daughters, Joyce Behel and Patricia Marlar; five grandchildren.
The family expresses special thanks to Dr. Little and Dr. Bowling.
