Deven Alan Kujath, 27, passed away on Feb. 12, 2018, after a lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis. Visitation will be today from 5-7 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Darren English officiating. There will also be a visitation on Friday, Feb. 16, at 3 p.m. at Monte Sano United Methodist Church, 601 Monte Sano Blvd., Huntsville, Alabama, with a celebration of life to follow at 4 p.m. at the church.
He is survived by his parents, Kim and Junior Thigpen, Dale Kujath, and Kip and Loye Pine; grandmother, Pauline Terry; sisters, Kayla Burgess (Blake) and Kristan Kujath; stepsiblings, Misty LeClair (Josh) and Aron Thigpen (Crystal); aunts and uncles, Jeri Talley Stanford, Denise Brooks, and Jason Kujath (Tina); as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by Lakrisha Thigpen and William “Ed” Talley Jr.
Deven was a fun-loving, energetic man who spent his time entertaining those around him whether it be through his infectious laugh, impersonations, music, or inspiration. He is adored by his friends and family who will never forget his appreciation for life. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and friends who have helped him throughout his life.
