Destinie Caetta Savant

Destinie Caetta Savant, age 50, beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend, passed away suddenly on January 13, 2025. She was born in Akron, OH on July 15th, 1974 to the late Gary Lee Caetta and late Brenda Diane Caetta-Gover. She grew up in Athens, AL and made her home in Madison, AL. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Sociology at Athens State University and a Masters in Business/Human Resources at Amberton University. Destinie dedicated 20+ years helping to build and lead the Human Resources department at Mesa Associates, Inc. She was full of life and exuded kindness, integrity, and strength. She was a guiding light for her family, friends and colleagues. Destinie loved her dogs, Casper, Harley, Luna, Luxi and Sam. She loved to travel and experience the world, but above all, she loved her family. She is survived by her husband, Sameer Savant; daughter, Sophie Savant; sisters, Casey (Jeffrey) Weld, and Teri (Mark) Phillips.

Destinie will be missed dearly and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she has touched throughout her life.
