  Derrick Lee Lepkowski, age 40 of Franklin, TN passed away November 17, 2022.

He was born in Watertown, NY on May 14, 1982.  He and his family moved to Cartersville, GA where he spent 5th grade until graduation.  He was in the first graduating class of Woodland.  He was an avid soccer player, even just recently getting involved in an adult league Saturday mornings.  He learned to ski at four years old and in high school took up snowboarding, quickly advancing to the halfpipe and jumps.

Derrick was relocated to Franklin, TN in December 2014.  Derrick also loved all things automotive.  He had built side businesses out of his Jeep and Bronco hobbies.

Derrick was a dedicated Director of Investments at Peachtree Planning in Brentwood, TN and so passionate about helping clients prepare and plan.

Derrick and Emily had joined as board members to Hope International in May 2022.

He was a member at Fellowship Bible Church and spent Sunday mornings attending with his wife and children and serving for the learning center in technology support.

Time with his wife and their four children was Derrick’s heart.  This often-included multiple kids’ soccer games, XC meets, family movie and game nights, family bike rides in their neighborhood, hiking, and traveling.

He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Bob Peck.

He is survived by his wife of five years, Emily; children, Fionn; Sylvia; stepdaughter Sadie; stepson Luke; parents, Jerry and Sharon Lepkowski; sister Jennifer Lepkowski and husband Clay Collins; nephew Jed; niece Octavia; mother-in-law Debbie Peck; brother-in-law, Phillip Peck and wife Allison Roberts; nephew Deaglan; loving German shepherds, Kona and Remy and many other loving family members.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 2PM at the Fellowship Bible Church, 1725 Columbia Ave. Franklin, TN 37064.
