Denverd Troy, 78 of Russellville, Al passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at his residence.
Troy Fleming was a man who lived life entirely on his own terms.
As a die-hard, Alabama Crimson Tide fan, nothing brought him more joy than Saturdays in the fall cheering them on. He found his peace taking long drives down the country roads of Gravel Hill. In his final years, he enjoyed sitting on his front porch with his friends at Willow Bend Apartments. Troy was a member of the Mason for many years.
The visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Eric Swinney officiating the service. The burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens. The pallbearers will be family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ceyrl Tedford; parents Denverd Marber & Lessie Mae Fleming; brother – in-laws, Harold Swinney and Tom McAlister.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his sons, Shannon Fleming (Misty) and Derek Fleming (Tabitha); grandchildren, Dakota Fleming, Dalton Fleming (Kailey), Isabella Fleming; great-grandchild, Ellanor Fleming; siblings, Glenda Swinney, Rhonda McAlister and Ronald Fleming; nieces & nephews, Eric & Anthony Swinney, Mac McAlister, Brittany & Blake Fleming. And a host of other family and friends.
