Dennis Wright, age 54, passed away at his residence on November 29, 2023. Born on May 14, 1969 he was the beloved son of Dorothy Wright and the late Edwin Wright.
Dennis leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Wright; sons, Deric Wright (Krista), Devin Wright (Sidney), and Dawson Wright; brother, Danny Wright (Sheila); grandchildren, Daxton and Katherine Wright; niece, Allison Glassco (Micah); nephew, Daniel Wright (Haley); great-nieces and nephews, Grace, Lexi (Kaleb), Avery, and Evan; aunt and a host of cousins; special friend, Denise Tolbert; and Marla Wright, mother of Dawson.
Dennis’s life was marked by the love he gave to his family and friends. He was a devoted father, son, brother, and grandfather, finding joy in the simple moments shared with those he held dear. His impact extended beyond his immediate family, touching the lives of friends and acquaintances alike.
The funeral service to celebrate Dennis’s life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. Bro. Larry Gunter and Bro. Jeff Holderfield will officiate the ceremony. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am on Saturday at the funeral home.
Dennis will find his final resting place at Memory Hill Cemetery. Those honored to assist him to his eternal rest include: Deric Wright, Devin Wright, Dawson Wright, Ken Leonard, Steve Gross, and Jon Garmon.
In addition to his immediate family, Dennis will be remembered by a community that mourns the loss of a kind soul. May he find eternal peace, and may his memory continue to bring comfort and solace to those who loved him.
