Dennis Wayne Davis, 62, of Union Grove, AL passed away Wednesday at his residence. Dennis was a native of Milton, FL and lived in Huntsville since 1977. He was a drummer for the Country Freedom Band, a longtime employee of Parker-Hannifin, an avid lover of Alabama Football and enjoyed watching his grandson playing baseball and his step-son playing football. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife: Melessa Davis; two sons: Jeremy Davis and Steven Davis; two step-sons: J.P. Jackson and Dillion Andrews; one sister: Sherry Dawson; one brother: Reggie Davis; one niece: Shelley Weaver; two nephews: Josh Davis and Jared Davis; two grandchildren: Jackson Davis and Jamison Davis. His extended family includes Cindy Davis and the Jolly family. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a memorial Chapel service at 6:00 p.m. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
