Dennis Ray Christopher, age 64, of Cherokee, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022. There will be a memorial service at the Cowboy Church of Colbert County on Sunday, March 20, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Truman Sutton and Pastor Walker Wingo officiating.
Dennis was a native of Cherokee, Alabama, a member of the Cowboy Church of Colbert County, and the Colbert County Cattleman’s Association. He was preceded in death by his son, Casey Christopher; his parents, Dred and Cora Christopher; and his 5 brothers and 5 sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Kaye Christopher; children, Tara Niko Raper (Tim), Mary-Katherine Helton (Brett); and grandchildren, Mikey Jones, Mathew Jones, Mark Jones, Tony Raper, Ian Raper, Aidan Christopher, Maci Mandrell, and Cora Helton.
