Funeral service for Mr. Dennis M. Galliart, age 79, will be held at 12 PM on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Faith Lutheran Church (101 Bragg Cir, Tullahoma, TN 37388) with Pastor Martin S. Nutter officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart Cemetery in Fayetteville, TN. Visitation with the family will be from 11 AM until 12 PM on Thursday at the Church.

Dennis was born on May 3, 1941 in Bremerton, WA to the late Milton George and Velma Dorothea Kohlmier Galliart. He was raised in Kansas and graduated from Mulvane High School, Mulvane, KS. Mr. Galliart earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering from Wichita State University and worked for Boeing for over 40 years. Prior to retirement, he relocated to Fayetteville, TN, working at the Marshall Space Flight Center and was a designer for the Space Station. Dennis loved riding motorcycles, hiking, and working on cars. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Tullahoma, TN. Mr. Galliart passed away on December 30, 2020 in Monument, CO, surrounded by his loving family.

Survivors include his sons, Robert Milton Galliart, and Mitchell Christopher Galliart of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Mekella (Jake) Kinlaw, Abigail Galliart, Cory (Emily) Galliart, Jackson Galliart, and Harrison Galliart; siblings, Allen (Janet) Galliart of Tempe, AZ, Wayne (Debbie) Galliart of Belle Plaine, KS, and Jane (Hank) Burge of Wichita, KS; step-mother, Mary Galliart of Hastings, NE; half-siblings, Lorraine (Rick) Allen of Lincoln, NE, Amy (Rob) Kuefner of Lexington, NE, Molly Galliart of Lincoln, NE. Julie (Jeffrey) Bloom of Lincoln, NE, Paul (Jenn) Galliart of Colorado Springs, CO, Wendy Galliart of Vancouver, WA; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Lee Ewing Galliart.
