Dennis Leon Crane, age 68 of Mentone, passed away January 16, 2023 at Brookwood Medical Center. He was born on September 17, 1954 to J.D. and Eloise Haney Crane in Fort Payne, AL.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ricky Haney officiating. Burial will follow in the Bankhead Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, from 5:00P.M. until 8:00P.M. at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Cheryl Blalock Crane; children, Eric (Tim Eason) Crane, Marian “Cricket” Owen, Amy Crane, and LaShae “Molly” Jones; grandchildren, Justin Liles, Amber Liles (Chris), Autumn Reyes (Gannon), and Emerald Eason (Marcus), great-grandchildren, Amelia “Milly” Graves and Carleigh Greene; mother, Eloise Haney Crane, brother; Lonnie (Katie) Crane; sister, Linda McKenzie (Gary); and several nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, J.D. Crane.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of arrangements.
