Dennis James Coker, 55 of Arab died Monday, March 9, 2015 at his residence.

Mr. Coker was born July 15, 1959 in Marshall County, the son of James and Betty Coker. He was a carpenter, a lifetime resident of Arab and a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Douglas, Alabama.

He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law: Brandy and Chris Garner; a brother: Frankie Coker; a sister: Debbie Mahan and half sister: Melissa Maze; preceded in death by his wife: Sandra Collene Bryan Coker, his father: James Delano Coker, mother: Betty Watwood Wilson and a brother: Timothy Coker.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, Brother George Garner, officiating. Burial will be in Eidson Chapel Cemetery, Baileyton, Alabama, Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Bryan, David Chumley, Cain Mahan, Caleb Mahan, Mike Reynolds, Phillip Whitehead and Lance Coker as Alternate Pallbearer.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
