Dennis I. Barnett
Dennis passed on December 28, 2014. He was born on November 5, 1937, in St. George, Kansas to George T. and Elvira Holuba Barnett. He married Joanne Frank on May 25, 1959. Their children, all surviving, are Dr. Debra Barnett, Thomas Barnett, Robert Barnett, and Bruce Barnett. Also surviving him are seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He has two surviving siblings, Jane Leonard and Louise Chase. He was preceded in death by his parents and the following siblings: George Louis Barnett, Ronald Estel Barnett, Aileen Helmick, and Margaret (Angela) Barnett. He served in the Navy for twenty years and retired from air traffic control with the Federal Aviation Administration after twenty years. He was a volunteer for many organizations. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the American Cancer Society. The viewing will be held at 1PM, funeral at 2PM, at Greenview Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, December 31.
